Newry and Mourne Council Deliver Some Blooming Gifts For Our
                                                                                    Eco Committee

Representatives from Newry and Mourne Council Ms Danielle Begley ,Biodiversity Officer and Ms Elaine Hart and our Eco Committee got green fingered and planted some native Irish bluebells, wild garlic and wood anemone in the school grounds. This will be an interesting project for the girls as they keep a keen eye on the plants and look forward to seeing them in full bloom.

                                                                              Success for Eco Committee

Congratulations to our Eco-Committee who raised a total of £300.75 at their recent cake sale. The proceeds of the sale have been split between two very worthy causes. The girls would like to use some of the money raised towards buying seeds and plants for developing the school greenhouse and butterfly garden. A cheque was also presented today to student Lauren Hogg on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis Newry. For more information on the charity, visit the website here www.multiplesclerosisnewry.co.uk. The Eco-Committee would once again like to thank Lauren for her beautifully designed cupcakes. They were all sold in record time...
Well done everyone
