The St Mary's Eco Code
Our Eco Code is our mission statement. It will demonstrate, in a clear and imaginative way, our school's core values and commitment towards improving our environmental performance and striving towards a sustainable future.
The Eco-Code will be displayed in every classroom and on the Eco-Schools notice board, in communal areas and in the staff room.

"Ella Earth" has become our official school mascot designed and produced by Ruth Havern (1018).

It is vital that pupils feel they have had involvement in developing this code, as this will give them a greater sense of ownership and responsibility for the programme and its values. The Eco Committee felt this strongly and decided to hold an Eco Code Competition throughout December and January 2010/11.
