Aims of the Department
To support the aims of St.Mary's as a Cathloic school. To deliver the Programmes of Study as laid down by the Northern Ireland Curriculum. To develop confidence and self esteem in our pupils together with a positive attitude to Music. To develop an appreciation of all genres of muisc. To remember at all times that it is the care and welfare of the pupils that is our chief concern and to ensure that the individual needs of each child are catered for spiritually, academically and socially. To ensure that each pupil is provided with work which is at a level suiting her ability, yet is also challenging enough to motivate progress. To further develop the necessary ICT skills and knowledge of our pupils by the inclusion of relevant ICT research and tasks in our subject.
