There are five full time teachers and one full time technician in the Department.
There are five Science laboratories. Four of the rooms have interactive whiteboards and one has a mounted data projector. Every room has two networked computers. There is also a small ICT suite with 3 C2K computers. This suite is also equipped with 25 wireless laptops for additional computers access for our students.
The study of Science at St.Mary's begins with a balance course of Bilogy, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 (Years 8 - 10) in preparation for the study of Science at KS4 and A level.
