BELIEFS IN SOCIETY

Students will examine:
The different theories of ideology, science and religion
Relationship between religion and social change
Religious organisations, cults, sects
Significance of religion and religiosity in a global context.

Social distribution of crime and deviance
Globalisation and crime in contemporary society
