Developing Employability Skills
Year 14 students participated in an Employability Masterclass facilitated by Maeve McParland and Deborah King from Newry and Mourne Enterprise Agency focusing on developing their employability and self-marketing skills within the recruitment process. The masterclass was followed by individual interviews where the students were able to demonstrate their skills and pick up important advice from a range of local business personnel. School Choir Perform at Newry Business Christmas Charity Dinner
St Mary’s Choir along with the choir from St Joseph's Boys' High School, Newry were delighted to be invited to sing at the Newry Business Christmas Charity Dinner in Canal Court Hotel. The choir joined other local schools in the area in welcoming invited guests to the event. We were also excited to be joined on stage by Northern Irish singer Brian Kennedy for a special rendition of Silent Night. Well done everyone, we are so proud of you all.

Year 14 Mini Enterprise
Congratulations to our Year 14 Business Studies Students who set up a mini enterprise cake business 'A Slice of Kindness’ in Buttercrane Shopping Centre today. The girls had a very successful day selling all types of tasty treats ranging from cupcakes to tray bakes and biscuits to mince pies.
