Post 16
Subjects Offered
The school collaborates closely with St Mark’s High School and St Colman’s College to offer pupil a wide range of Applied and General subjects at Post 16 Level.
Throughout the Key Stage 4 CEIAG programme pupils receive advice and support to help them to make informed decisions regarding Post 16 study in St Mary’s and other career pathways open to them. All Year 12 pupils (Term 2) attend the Options Seminar and have an individual interview with the DEL Careers Advisor along with the Principal or Vice Principal to discuss their subject choices.

All pupils have timetabled Careers Guidance lessons each week and have access to a range of resources in the Library and Sixth Form Study Centre. In Year 13 pupils follow an extensive enrichment programme which supports their personal development, preparing them for the challenges and responsibilities of Third Level Education, employment and adult life.
