GCSE Geography Fieldwork

Year 11 GCSE Geography Students spent an action packed day on the Shimna River on Friday 19th October. Starting at Site One near Fofanny Dam and finishing at Site Five in Tipperary Wood, the students donned their wellies and measured river characteristics including width, depth, velocity, gradient and bedload. This was in preparation for their Unit 3 examination in June. Everyone had a super day.
