To celebrate #BookWeekNI, we were delighted to welcome writer Ella McLeod to St. Mary’s. Ella’s debut novel Rapunzella, Or Don’t Touch My Hair was published by Scholastic UK in July 2022 to rave reviews. It has been described as “fairy-tale reimagining in verse." Ella spoke at length to Year 11 pupils about her journey into writing and career to date. Pupils were captivated by Ella’s story-telling and charisma, they listened attentively and asked questions about the writing process. We are delighted that so many are eager to read this novel. Thank you so much to Ella for giving up her time to visit us and for signing copies of her novel.
