Your School Your Business
Year 8 pupils took part in the ‘Your School Your Business’ programme with local charity Young Enterprise on 21st September. The programme helps to support pupils as they make the big leap from P7 into Year 8. Among a number of key life skills the students developed personal confidence and presentation skills. The students also assessed their personal abilities, while analysing and solving problems.
The charity works with young people of all ages and abilities to encourage entrepreneurial qualities at a young age. Year 9 pupils were also working with Young Enterprise developing skills for a future in business. Taking part in the ‘Explore Enterprise’ programme, the students explored creative thinking, team working and problem-solving in a practical session held by the charity.
