Pictured are Year 9 & 11 members of St Mary’s GLAMS group. The girls attended an inspirational event at Craigavon Leisure Centre on Thursday 28th November, which was hosted by Youth Sport Trust. They had an action packed day doing taster activities in dance and boxercise and worked together on their vision and actions for school sport going forward. Additionally, our Year 11 pupils received training in peer mentoring and how best they can support new members of the GLAMS group. Meeting Carla Rowe from Dublin LGFA was a highlight for many of these pupils and were inspired by her story of hard work, resilience and dedication throughout her sporting journey.
