Celebrating Feis Success

Congratulations to all our pupils who performed in the Newry Musical Speech and Drama Feis. Pictured are all the students who competed as well as the prize winners in the various competitions. (Missing from photo Emilija Brogoyte). We are proud of each and every pupil who participated and who were exceptional ambassadors for St Mary’s.

Caoimhe Jennings was awarded 2nd place and Grace O’Hanlon 3rd for their interpretation of ‘The Host of The Air’ By W B Yeats.

Brooke Mulholland won the Newry High School Shield for most promising speaker in the Public Speaking Competition.


Charlotte Young was awarded the Margaret Nolan Perpetual Challenge Cup as the competitor who obtained the highest mark in any test piece.


Ella Irwin won the adjudicator’s award for her performance in the Public Speaking Competition.


Blaithin, Charlotte, Maisie and Molly won THE NEWRY REPORTER PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP as they were the group who obtained the highest mark in a group performance.
