The Eco Committee had a visit from Mr Pat McCauley, Education Officer with NI Water, who delivered a talk to the girls on the importance of saving water and reducing the number of single use plastics that we use. St Mary’s have joined the NI Water ‘Refillution’ scheme and as a result have been provided with eco-friendly, reusable water bottles for all of our pupils!
The Eco Committee are looking forward to distributing these bottles and have no doubt that they will be put to great use by all students, given that we have our fantastic hands free water filling stations already in place.
