Paediatric Training Course

We were delighted to welcome Maurice Rocks from the Southern Trust who took our Year 14 Childcare students for their Paediatric First Aid Training Course. The girls learned how to perform CPR on a baby, deal with bleeds, how to put a patient into the recovery position, use a defibrillator, deal with an unconscious patient and how to perform a primary survey using DRABC.

The course has taught our students valuable lifesaving skills and has given them the confidence to know when and how to act in an emergency.
